We live down a narrow country lane next to a 39 acre nature
reserve. The nature reserve can be accessed from our lane or small walkways in the village.

Toby spends 99% of his time in our garden. He goes into the
gardens of our neighbours on either side for a look around but usually returns home within an hour.

Due to his size he is not agile like a normal cat and is dog like in his behaviour. He is cautious but friendly. Never scratches.

He was in the house at 4pm but not at 5pm.

The weather outside was not good and by 5pm it was raining heavily and there were strong winds. Fences blew down and apparently a dog which lives 4 houses away from us got loose and was eventually found at the top of Marford Hill in our village.Perhaps Toby was on the lane and the dog chased him.

We have posted about 150 leaflets through the letter boxes of the houses in our immediate area and we have searched every shed and garage (or asked our neighbours to search) on our lane but most of our neighbours have dogs so it would be hard for him to hide unnoticed in a neighbour's garden (without a dog finding him and barking).

We walk through the Quarry every day shouting his name - it is an extensive area but if he is nearby he might hear us.

If you have found a large grey long haired cat with huge orange
eyes, please take him to your local vet and have him scanned - he is micro-chipped.
We are desperate to hear any news of him. He is a much loved member of our family and we want him back.
