Just before he went missing, Bourbon had his long coat shorn, which happens each year. He looks forward to this event as he hates his long coat, he finds it tiresome to maintain and refuses to allow grooming. We respect his wishes and allow it to get really manky before taking him to get it removed. He sits patiently whilst the vet shears him. His fur would have grown considerably by now as he has been missing for almost 3 months. It was his birthday on 11th September He answers to his name and often comes when he is called. He is very adventurous , but doesn't stray too far out of his area. He belongs to my 13 year old daughter who is devastated at his loss. We have his brother at home who pines for him. The night he went missing it was raining really hard, initially I thought he may have gotten trapped in a garage or shed, however, I have physically knocked on all the homes around me unto a mile. It's the not knowing where he is that's the worst part. I spoke to council services that were very unhelpful, they had no animals that matched his description.
We missed his 6th birthday this weekend, we are desperate for He is part of our family. If he has been accidentally killed in a car accident, and you know, please help by letting us know, at least we can grieve and lay him to rest in our minds. |
