Leo is a much loved family pet and we are all devastated. Our other cat is clearly upset as they have never been apart since they met.

We feel very concerned for Leo since he is unable to look after himself and I don't think he will be able to make it home without help. Please look out for Leo and please check anywhere he could get into.
Many thanks, tina

...

Leo is an indoor cat. We had him from a rescue center, he is brain damaged from previous mistreatment. He is blind in his left eye and very poor sighted in his right eye. He will always take a route along right hand walls so he can see where he is going.

He can't jump higher than a meter, and one of his back legs swing out as he walks. He does stumble quite a bit and often falls off furniture.

He often gets lost in the house and will sit mewing until our other disabled cat goes to get him. He is still able to charge around the house and play fight with our other cat, but I don't feel he will be able to look after himself outside. He gets quite panicky and I can imagine him being spooked outside by the noise and bustle and just keep on running. I really don't think he will be able to find his way home.

He became constipated once, possibly due to stress after we had been away for a weekend, but this hasn't happened since. No other health issues.
