We let Bill out at 9pm as per usual, we call him in at midnight, he never came, all four of us tried, kept it up until 2am. The previous day he had got in my Daughter Emma's bed under the duvet which he did now and then, Emma said she could sense something was going to happen to him. We have factories over the back of our house and woods over the fence. Bill used to be too scared to go out during the day because of the loud noises and at 3 months old we noticed his coordination skills were far behind his twin Brothers; Climbing fences, judging the gap in which to jump down from, we were playing with a straw with him which he loves now, he reached for it sat on a cabinet and reached out as if he was convinced he'd caught it when in fact there was about a 2-3cm gap between his paw and the straw. Bill often goes into the woods over the back of our house, but lately has been going out longer and longer and asking to or not coming in from 7am - around 4pm. We are wondering if he or has been finding a food source and becoming accustomed to the outdoors or just chased off this new black and white cat in the area. There has been a sighting of Bill a week into his dissapearance on a grassy area around the corner of the house who feeds cats, but the person who told us saw him and then read the 'missing' poster by then it was too late! He purrs very loudly, is timid, but friendly. Dislikes builders. He is a cat that really needs to feel he trusts you, unless your approacable and in his environment. He is quite road aware as far as I'm aware. We have been wondering if he has sight problems related to his coordination problems, he usually finds his way home, but then he's not usually far from home, takes him 5 - 10 minutes sometimes.
