Cookie arrived in my home after I attended the funeral of my late friend Mark Cooke, who he was named after.

He is a very friendly cat, inquisitive, vocal, playful and very good natured. He lives with with two other cats, one of which he had to grow on and the other, who was originally a stray from the village (neighbours confirmed this cat had been around for about 4/5 years uncared for), like a house on fire.

The stray was very accepting of him and Cookie spent a lot of his time with her. On finally making friends with the other cat, they too were inseperable. I dont have a cat flap, although whenever I called them in they would come together, obviously both up to no good.

Cookie liked to snuffle my hair, before sleeping he would often pad the pillow with my hair on, often clawing the back of my scalp (which wasnt always welcome, he used to dribble a lot when doing this). He liked to sit in the most unusual places, on my shoulders mostly or in the small of my back when I watched telly on the floor.

When he went missing I had gone away for a week and the animal family was being looked after by a trusted person who cared for him and the other animals as much as I.
"I have looked high and low for Cookie and I am sure he would like to come home and be reunited with his other housemates. There is a huge empty void in the house and my other cats, particularly the more difficult of the two is really struggling without him, I have never played so much with one cat.
We all miss him and would like to see his safe return as soon as possible. If you find a cat that has passed away I would still like to know where and for how long - if he is not coming home I need some closure. I have never lost a cat in this way before and your help is greatly appreciated."
