Nancy was like my shadow, so much so that I couldn't take a bath etc., without leaving the door ajar which turned out to be a good thing because as I was checking my breasts for lumps I found a very small lump and at that time my husband arrived home.

Had I locked the door I probably would have ignored it and not have bothered to get out of the bath, unlock the door and call my husband to check out the lump.

He insisted on ringing the doctor to make an appointment, the doctor referred me to a specialist, had the relevant tests and it was confirmed to be cancer.
I had the lump removed followed by four weeks of radiotherapy. Nancy was not used to me being away for so long and midway between treatments I sadly lost my young niece through breast cancer. After treatments I'd call to my sister and her husband to take them some food and try as best I could to console them.

Ironically on the last day of treatment Nancy disappeared.

"Nancy unwittingly saved my life. She's a beautiful cat with a lovely temperament. She hasn't got a nasty streak in her body and we bonded with each other from the minute she was born as I helped her mother "Missy" give birth to 4 beautiful kittens, 3 black fluffy ones and Nancy my gorgeous silver tabby.
I'm missing her so much that I feel I can't get on with my life.
Please help me find her as I've done everything in my power to and don't know where to turn to next."
Thank you, Lynne.
