I have lost Nero Very big but gentle spirit. Very agile, reserved and sweet |
One ear is spit at the top from fighting with other cats and has a scar on one side of the cheek where the fur is missing, you can only see that if he turns because he has a very long fur all around his neck (like a male lion) He was not neutered when I lost him and didn't have a collar as he would lose one every day or two, I have tried many. 10 MAY 2005 was the last time I saw him, & he was seen in the area with a collar and bell later. Many others have seen him in their garden regularly but I was never able to get there in time. We had been having building work in the house, refitting a new kitchen. The work had been going on for 3 days, on the last day when he left, his cupboard which usually contained his food was placed in the garden by mistake, the same day he left .... He was a bit 'Forest' also in the sense that he was very independent, didn't like to be closed in the house not even wanting the doors of the garden closed He would wake me up at 6.30 every morning to be fed and go out in the garden. He also used to stay out more in Summer and sometimes slept outside, he loved being outdoors and would sleep easily in the garden during the day after catching big mice or rats. He was quite large and powerful cat, which scared foxes off my garden and didn't allow other cats in. |

He was very sweet, never scratched me or bit me even when I used to pick him up, which he didn't
like, I could kiss him and cuddle him and he would wake me up in the morning kissing me and stepping on me and talking a lot until I woke up |
I love him very much and I would never give up on him, if there is something I can do I would do it. I don't know what else to do - I can't forget him because he was part of my family - he will always be in my heart. |
Does anyone out there recognise this cat - if so he has one distinguishing feature known only to his human who would appreciate being contacted with any information about his whereabouts. |
