We are pensioners and rescued Rosie and Max who were living wild with their mum in a friends green house. She persuaded us we weren't too old to start again (we have had cats all our life.)

After nursing her brother back from ill health over a matter of weeks we were looking forward to a lively, but happy summer with them both.

Rosie is a delightful mischievous and very friendly cat. She made herself known to all our neighbours and they have been as upset as we are to have lost her.

Rosie isn't a bit cautious, she loved car boots or any open door. Our next door neighbour found her fast asleep on her bed at one time. At 10 weeks old she climbed up the chimney and happily spent the night there, only to come down the next morning unphased by her adventure. She has also been stuck up the highest tree on the road and got shut in a neighbours garage for a number of hours.

She is a free spirit, but always came home at night. We leave the cat flap open just in case she finds her way home. Her brother Max is missing her, as I'm sure she is missing him.

After she went missing after tea on the 19th April, we had a really cold spell, so I am releived the weather has warmed up, just in case she is fending for herself somewhere.
