We moved to Northampton from Wellingborough on 30th October 2009, Pablo, who also answers to Maggie, one of our other cats names, was unsettled from the start and escaped through a closed door and open window in the early hours of Sunday 1 November 2009. We have put his details on another website and trawled the local streets looking for him in Northampton, posting flyers through doors and putting up on telegraph poles. We thought he had been seen a few streets away and went there day in and day out calling him and leaving food for him. He loves tuna and is a wonderful friendly cat with a big purr. He went missing over Halloween and Bonfire night, so am really worried about him as he went missing in a strange place, already stressed and then with fireworks etc to deal with. The weather is cold and rainy, and don't know what else to do now. Hoping against hope that he may be making his way home to the house he knows and loves, but obviously a long way for a cat to travel. He is a real hunter, and has a lot of savvy I feel when he is out and about, but a real gentle softy when he is home. He loves padding into furry blankets and cushions, and dribbles when he is doing so as he really enjoys it so much. He can be very playful and skittish as he is quite a big heavy cat, but is very loving and a joy to be around. |
