All of our cats went out for their evening stroll, but Pippin didn't come back. He's always been the biggest explorer of them all, but only usually goes out of the garden for a few hours, never a whole day or night.

We have recently moved to a new area; although he seemed fairly settled, some of his routines have changed... they all used to have free access 24/7 via a utility room window, but in the new house we've been letting them out manually, and locking them in when we go to bed.

Pippin is quite shy of strangers, but it may well be possible to gain his trust with milk or cheese!
