Stanley was found at 3 days old and hand reared. He suffered nasty cat flu and we rehomed him at about 12 weeks once he was fully recovered. He is a fairly laid back lazy cat but enjoys pottering about outside, especially when the weather is good. He loves hunting and we usually have a present on the doorstep if he as been out overnight. He loves food and is a little overweight. He is very friendly but a little nervous when outdoors and tends to move away when approached. He occasionally goes into neighbours houses, but usually only when following one of our other cats (an older more confident male neutered cat). He went out on the 16th April and has not been seen since. We have asked the neigbours, leafleted the nearby villages and farms, spoken to local vets and rescues, spoken to the council and searched the nearby fields but have heard very little. We have had one possible sighting and have had a cat trap there for the past week, but haven't caught anything. There is a tabby and white cat who lives on the same street so suspect this is the cat that was seen. The weather was very good for the first 10 days after he went missing but we have had some heavy rain the past few days, although it is still warm. We recently rescued a pregnant queen with a broken leg, but Stanley was very accepting of her and fascinated by the kittens. Only one was left with us when he went missing. She was in season when he went missing (now speyed!) but we did not see or smell any entire tom cats around. |

"Stanley is very much loved and sorely missed. We keep thinking we hear a miaow at the door and it is breaking our hearts every time it is our imagination or every time we come home and he isn't waiting for us." |
