Cats found in the 'OL' postal area
nr Rochdale
RTA 9th Apr.2006
c0799

My neighbour found a cat that had been sadly killed on the road on Sun night, about 9.20 - it was still warm, so hadn't been dead long. She was going to take it to the vet today to check for a chip and have it cremated (she hasn't checked its sex), will let you know if it was chipped.

It was found on Oldham Road near Rochdale near the Bingo hall and is a Black and White youngish looking cat wearing a Yellow collar. The vets nearest there and the local CP have been informed.

About three weeks ago a young stray neutered male appeared, has the appearance of a cross siamese
The colouring is a chocolate tabby - lovely tabby markings with more than a hint of red to sandy ears and face flashings His eyes are pale blue
He seems to be in good shape, having now befriended everyone, is being allowed in neighbours home, and getting food. Seems to have a liking for cars as he is inclined to leap into mine if he is about when I open the door.

Rochdale OL12
'Manx' found c.23rd Oct.2007
c2064

Have been asked to help out with a stray today, it is the Buckley Hall prison area of Rochdale, very thin, and a very unusual cat. Appears to be a dark brown and white (never seen a cat unless a pedigree with this colouring before), and also appears to be a Manx - has no tail full stop, it doesnt' feel like it has been removed by a vet either. Am taking him up to be checked for a microchip on Thurs, and will let you know
