Benny is very affectionate, and also very loyal - he follows us around the neighbourhood when walking dog or popping to shops etc. He aslo usually recognises my car, and comes out from wherever he is hiding when he spots it.

He is never usually in more than a 10 meter radius if the house, and has never before been interested in females. He has had one or two nights away before, but it has now been 6 and we are very worried.

Around 3 weeks ago, we took in a kitten (3 weeks old and very malnourished) Benny didnt like the kitten and hissed a couple of times - was also not very interested in talking to me - but after a few days seemed okay about it and went back to his normal self.

We have been out night and day looking for him, have put some posters up, and will be delivering flyers door to door this evening. Ive shaken out the contents of the hoover up and down thestreet (the neighbours think ive finally lost it!) and put out some worn socks/old jumpers in front and back garden.

Benny is quite popular in the area, and some kind neighbours are also on the lookout. I have also put an appeal out on facebook, which a few of my friends have added to their pages. Also have telephoned every cat sanctuary and most of the vets in the area, including the pdsa hospital.

The cleansing dept at the council have not had any reports of and rta's since the 14th Jan. Im trying to do everything possible to locate him as he is very very sadly missed.

Benny is never usually very far away from our house, and always comes when called. We are very worried about him, as he has never been away for more than a night or so before. Even if you have seen him please let us know, as we are actvely searching every day, and he is very, very saldy missed by the whole family. Thankyou xx
