Blondie is a timid cat who generally runs away when she hears noises or feels suprised. I think she may also be slightly deaf as she reacts more to bangs & vibrations then calling her name. She is very vocal @ home when she wants something Meaowing none stop (usually first thing in the morning).

She originally lived in Barrow In Furness with my Auntie who sadly passed away last year. She came to live with me in March last year has now settled in really well and is a much loved part of the family. She is a house cat who never leaves the back yard. We let her into the back yard and she's never tried to get out. I've never known her to climb a wall either here or in Barrow.

She has a little bald patch above her eye where she keeps scratching as she has recently just got over fleas. She got out of the house about 7.30am Friday morning, when she must have run out of the front door when my boyfriend went to work. It's only the second time she's tried this. The first time we saw her run out and immediately found her under a car, I had to practically drag her out from under the car as she wouldn't just come to me of her own accord. I noticed her missing about 8.30am and checked the house thoroughly before going outside and searching for her.

I had a call about a woman reporting a cat found in the furthest street that adjoins mine. She last saw the found cat on Sat night and believes it was my Blondie. She said she looked hurt as she wasn't walking well and hid behind her shed. She fed her, but the cat disappered. We have had a few other sightings nearby but have still not found her and can't be sure whether the sightings were her on not. There are no other animals in my house.

The weather has been snowing, rainng and generally very cold. Blondie normally refuses to go out in the rain, it was raining at the time she went missing. It was also bin day and very noisy in my area as we are very close to a main road.
