Thomas had recently been to the cattery (beginning of December) for a few days, he's been a few times already this year.

He was happy, and settled in well - purring and likes lots of fuss from his tempoary carers.

On the Monday as he was last seen, I was at home and we were having the Cavity Wall insulation installed (so there was more noise than usual, and an open van to explore, which knowing his nosey and curious nature this could have been tempting, unless the noise frightened him).

He's friendly, and affectionate and is usually around the house - if someone's in, he likes to be too. My fiancee works from home, and he knows the sound of my car when I get back from work. I was working away though for the rest of the week - until Friday, though my partner was in as usual. He's comfortable with us both, and the children.
