Moonie is our family cat. She went missing on Saturday. We left her at home as we went out for lunch and when we came back 3 hours later, she was nowhere to be seen. There were two windows open in the house, so I am guessing she jumped out of the first floor window.

She does not have a tail, so her coordination is very shaky - I think she got hurt by the jump and went hiding somewhere to recover from the injury. She's a lovely, cuddly and very affectionate cat that we all love very much.

We are moving to Dubai this week and she was scheduled to come with us. Some say that cat's can sense the move and leave to avoid it. I hope this is what happened, because she's certainly not anywhere in the neibouring gardens.

She's an independent soul and loves being pampered, but only on her own terms (ie when she comes around for it). She's been quite frightened of the outside since last year when she was in a car accident and was badly injured. She loves going out into our garden just to walk around her territory. She would normally come home within an hour or two of going out. Never stayed outside for the night and was very fond of playing with boxes.
