Ozzy is 2 years old and will be 3 in December. He has a sister Tilly who misses him very much and now sleeps with us every night. If we don't let her in she scratches at the door all night. She looks for him every morning on the front garden and still looks around the house for him.

He is such a loving, friendly cat. He has to put his paw on your hand when you sit together and stares up into your face until you look at him. He even has to step on each stair at the same time as you. He loves to held over your shoulder like a baby. In fact he is my baby! He meows on demand - even on the phone to my other half. He has a big fuzzy head with ears that go right forward when he's being mischevious.

Ozzy has never been a house cat but he did not wander far. He would usually sit in the bushes at the bottom of the garden or just on the lawn on the back garden. He liked to be in more than out and would appear at the front window to be let in within minutes of going out.

He went out at approximately 9pm on Friday 19th September whist Tilly was asleep. At 10pm I looked to see if he wanted to come in but he wasn't there. I already knew something was wrong then. I checked every hour through the night and then begun the full search the next day.

There has been so much rain recently and we are worried as bonfire night approaches. He is terrified of fireworks.

The only theory we have is that a local un-neutered Tom has been bothering him recently and we have had to intervene. The night he went missing, a box next to the fence had been up-turned as if something has possibly happened.

"My gorgeous Ozzy has been missing since 19th September 2008.
He is a big, black long-haired cat with a fluffy tail and a very handsome face.
He is very friendly and loving.
His sister Tilly has never been without him and is so lonely. She looks for him all the time.
We miss him so much and just can't imagine him not coming home.
He will be 3 in December and we would love him home for his birthday
."
