Ozzie and his sister Izzie came as kittens in October last year from Newmarkets Cats- a small rescue group. We had him vaccinated, neutered and began to let him go out from 6 months old onwards. We introduced them to the outside gradually for short periods but they were able to go out during the day for the last 3 months.

He was enjoying going out to hunt - we think in the local allotments, cemetary and horse paddock ( our side of the bypass) . Both cats always kept in overnight and he had got into the habit of coming back by 7.30 sometimes with help of a call and crunchy box rattling.

We let him out as usual at about 6.45 on the morning of the Friday 20th June but he did not return for evening meal despite much calling. His sister was very unsettled initially as they are quite close but seems less frantic now.

Get the feeling he ranges quite widely as he sometimes is puffing and panting as though he has been running to get home.

"Ozzie was beginning to worm his way deep into our affections especially since having to have our very senior cat put to sleep a month before. We feel he is still out there but would love him home soon."
