Sam was a timid cat and very placid. He liked other cats, but
they did not necessarily like him. He did not fight, preferring flight. He had been with me since November 2006 when I moved into this house, having adopted him from a rescue centre. He did not like to sit on my knee but he was very affectionate and would let me pick him up and cuddle him, he let me stroke him and tickle his tummy. Sam has a slight heart condition, but it is very mild. It does worsen with stress and the vet always checks it over on any visit. He has no medication for it. When he went missing, I was away on holiday. I had a cat sitter coming in to feed him twice a day he had not seen Sam since Tuesday morning (28th August) but my neighbour fed Sam Wednesday night as he had been wandering into their conservatory eating their cat's dry food. Sam got on well with my neighbours and their cat, who is a bit skitty and sometimes used to chase him and take the odd swipe, but nothing serious. There is also a male cat a few doors down that is quite dominant and comes into my garden, but Sam never chased it away, nor did the other cat chase my Sam. The other male however had sprayed twice in my house. There have been no sightings of him whatsoever. I do not know what else to do. |

"Sam is my companion, not just my pet.
He is missed more and
more each day and any help/possible sightings will be followed up and not dismissed. I am offering a reward for his safe return." |
