Tiggi lives in a a village , although it is surrounded by
countryside our road runs horizontal with the main A38 which is the city
centre road into Birmingham. We are in a pretty built up part, there are
houses all around . Our house is semi detached with a big garden that Tig
rarely ventured out of , she was more than content going out with the dogs
last thing at night and coming in with them. Our road is a busy one
obviously as it links straight off the a38 and the m5 link j4.
My Tiggi is gorgeous , when we first got her she was a little
savage but has been cuddled to death and is now so so soft, and very
playful , I often find myself being woken up due to her sat there tapping
my face with her paws to wake me , she comes to her name with family
members, but she isnt the sort of cat that is good with strangers, she
tended to stay in the house to favour my mum and I , often spendin g her whole days
lying on my bed in the sunshine asleep . She is a really happy cat,
constantly purring , very playful and adores hunting, we have often had
games with Tig in goal and us using little bits of rolled up paper up and
down the stairs.
She lives with three dogs, Ollie who is our golden retriever and two
younger terriers, they adore Tiggi and Ollie in particular has been crying
since she didnt return home. Often I have walked in to find them all
snuggled up together in a big heap on the floor.
Tiggi hates the cold , and it was very rare she spent all night out doors,
on the rare occasion that she did she would climb into our green house and
sleep there amoungst the warmth of the plants. Being a Bengal cat she is
taken with water , this normally meant perching on the edge of the bath if
I was in it and trying to catch the flannel and drag it out. She wont
drink from a normal drinking dish, and used to cry for me to turn the tap
on so she could drink directly from there.
She is affectionate with me to thepoint of extremes, and often I would
carry her around in my arms flat on her back like a baby. Even though she
is soft with me she does have temper and a half , which earnt her the
nickname 'clawful' in the house as she would often rather than striking
out at me or mum , simply attack the next persons feet that came into view
save her upsetting us.
She is a very independant little cat, down right willful at times, if you
do something she doesnt approve of she will strop off into another room
and ignore you. She saw our garden as her hunting ground and often brought
back birds and rats that she had caught . She has a scar on the inside bit
of her right eye, some of the fur is missing from where she got injured
fighting with our neighbours cat.
Last thing at night I would call her and I could hear this meow she would
continue answering me when I called her name until she came into view of
the back door and then she would come in. She is very calm when she is
indoors now, content with sleeping anywhere that is warm and cosy. She
doesnt like children, they intimidate her, due to her savageness when she
was young we made sure her environment was calm no sudden shocks or
suprises. She will run from them rather than attacking them , in that way
she is very measured.
I am so worried for Tiggi , it is very unusual for her not to come home,
normally she would be there giving me grief as she wanted feeding, she
adores her food and has always easily eaten more than any of the guides
suggest, she constantly seems starving.

"I miss Tiggi terribly , she is so gorgeous and so soft, she really has been loved so much , she is one of the family and I see her as my little baby really, I really can't stand the thought that she is out there in the cold or lost, or hurt somewhere. She is such a home orrientated cat and we really need her home, for one thing my ollie he isnt the same without her.
I have only just got over cancer, and she has kinda been my support through it , just lying there purring away, and I really really miss her.
I actually cant put into words how much I love her. We have put so much effort into making sure she is safe and secure and loved, we just need her home. Thankyou" |
