We have had Jasmine (Jas) since she was a kitten. She is a playful 10 year old & has a terminally ill male companion who was a stray 5 years ago.
She is a very affectionate & homely cat, greets me like clockwork when I arrive home from work, can be initially unsure of strangers but loves to be stroked although she doesn't like being picked up much.
Jasmine has sensitive hearing & is really frightened of loud noises such as fireworks, doors slamming, sudden movements by people & plastic bags rustling. She stays out during the day whilst we are at work unless it's really cold and wet when she sleeps in garage she also sleeps in warm garage at night.
I had been looking after my sister on New Years Eve night (she was poorly after recently having had a mastectomy) and I arrived home at 11.15 pm. Because Jasmine had been in the house all evening I let her out for her usual half hour. I forgot celebration fireworks would be starting towards midnight (I always keep her in during times like these, bonfire night etc). She didn't come back in when I called for her.
"In mid-Dec 2006, my employer (the best boss I've ever had) retired. My adorable cat Jasmine disappeared New Years Eve night, but worst of all, my wonderful sister who was my very best friend died after a short illness on 6 Jan 2007. Also, my 21 yr old only daughter finally became independent & moved into her own home 19 Jan 2007. I feel my whole world is falling apart and I really would do anything to try and get Jasmine back. I worry about her & miss her so much. I long to find her & comfort her. She would also be of great comfort to me during these difficult times."
Would everyone in the Meadowside Avenue area of Clayton-le-Moors, Please keep a lookout for Jasmine. Search your Garages and Sheds in case she is trapped and in need of help.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
