Dot
is a very gentle and friendly young cat, we have had her since she was 5 weeks old. She was the third of our four cats to join our household. Of the other three, Jack is her closest friend and he is really
missing her, as are my wife and I.

There has been a bit of a change in our house with the arrival of our daughter in January, but all the cats have been very accepting of her and never seemed too put out, even though they no longer get the run of the
whole house.

The day Dot went missing was quite a wet day, although it was dry first thing when we put them all out before going to work. She has been known to nosey around in workmen's vans in the street, so maybe she hopped in one and got driven away by accident. The cats have a few places where they take refuge during the day (a neighbour's carport, etc) but we have
checked with everyone nearby and looked in garages and sheds.

We have fostered kittens for Cats Protection in the past, so we knew who to contact when Dot went missing, but there hasn't been any news from local shelters.
"Dot is a lovely little cat that my wife 'rescued' from a pet shop where she was badly kept, and nursed her back to full health. She is not a big cat but she has left a massive hole in our lives, and we only want to have her back home safe and sound."
