Rumble lives in a small hamlet of around 40 houses with two working farms, which is also very close to the Solway Coast, which for humans is about a half hour walk. Surrounded by mainly arable farms with bovine and ovine livestock, but intersected by a busy A road, A596, and to the coast the B5900.

He was last seen on Sunday afternoon (September 17th), in one of our sheds (all were open) his usual curious self, inspecting and checking for mice. Not unusual to not be seen again until morning, around dawn, whereupon demanding breakfast.
Nor is he a cat to interact much with people he doesn't know, and can be very aggressive, i.e not frightened to slash, if not happy about being picked up.

He lives with his litter brother, who he dominates, and he normally hangs around the more immediate vicinity, making sure other cats don't use his facilities.
His brother seems tobe the one who has the large hunting territory, and since Rumble's disappearance, he has been more noticably about the home.

The weather has been variably wet and windy, especially the night after he had not been seen for 24 hrs.

"He is a home boy, usually, who is protective of his territory, but does have a number of cat friends (as well as humans) who want him home as soon as possible"

Calling for help from all our viewers in Allerby and in surrounding areas, to look out for Rumble and to search and monitor all outbuildings in the hopes of helping him find his way home. Any information however vague would be useful.
