Gizmo is staying with me while my dad is in hospital suffering from cancer. Gizmo was sitting on the window sill in the lounge, and the window was open about 2 inches. He managed to push it open with his head and before I could get to him he jumped down onto the path. I went out to get him but he ran off.

Gizmo is not used to this area or the noise from the traffic. He may be very frightened. He has two brothers, Billy and Oscar. I hand reared all three of them from the age of 2 weeks. At the age of 10 weeks Gizmo went to live at my dads house and I kept Billy and Oscar. Now at the age of 6 years they are re-united (although they don't remember each other!)

Gizmo is a small cat, can be timid with strangers, not keen on children, he has a slight tilt to his head on the left side, has a modest appetite (not greedy!), very sweet natured.
"I feel terrible that, despite my best efforts, Gizmo 'escaped'. My dad left him in my care and I feel like I have let him down. I miss him badly. My dad is terminally ill and I want Gizmo back quick so he can see his 'dad' once more. Please look out for him if you live in the Beeston area of Nottingham. Thank you."
