Sharkey and his twin brother George came to live with us almost a year ago. They were my birthday present as I'd desperately wanted a cat for ages. I grew up with cats and my ex husband woouldn't let me have one.

Their mother had been mistreated and was rescued when pregnant with them.
They were the only two in the litter and she rejected them so they were hand reared.

When they were little George was tiny and we were worried that Sharkey might be bullying him but George eats like a horse and turned into a bit of a bruiser. Sharkey became an incredibly loving cat. He loves company. He even loved the Gas man who called to read the meter.

He usually sleeps on the bed with us and if he went out he'd always check back in every hour or so. He is full of energy and had crazy moments and is also very thin.
We were worried about him but his vet said just to keep an eye on it and that he was still healthy. He's quite fussy about his food. There are only a few things he really enjoys eating.

We last saw Sharkey at about 10.30pm last Wednesday. He popped out and didn't come back before bed which was very unusual so we were worried straight away. We've let them go out in the back garden for a while now but have never let them out of the front door because the road can be quite busy.

George is pining for his brother. Usually George is out and about a lot but he's hardly going anywhere at the moment.

We are so worried about Sharkey. He is so thin and the weather has been so
hot and wet while he's been missing. We all miss him terribly.

"My boyfriend and I are missing Sharkey terribly. We love both our cats and our family isn't complete without Sharkey here. Every time we go out we hope he'll be here when we come home and he isn't and it's devastating, but of course we go on hoping. George seems so low. We all
just want Sharkey home. Please please please help if you can.
