Tabasco is ginger with paler faint stripes, He has long fluffy hair, he has a slit in his left ear and where a white tatty collar with a purple heart shaped tag (was blue but cover came off)

We live on a new housing estate built 2002' we live in a close, with lots of fellow cats. Estate is near two main roads one Union street outside the close, and the Redditch highway up an embankment at end of close.

Tabasco is/was like one of the family in size he was a big as a small dog. He is/was one of a kind, people say cats are independent and Tabasco was in many ways (walked himself, went to loo etc) but always needed lots of hugs and kisses and would give them back in return, He slept ever night either at the end of our bed or on my pillow. He would pad himself to sleep.

Not sure how he’s gone missing, just that he hasn’t returned home, Tabasco would wonder for hours but never missed a meal, even if it meant waking you up in the middle of the night!!! but I haven’t seen him since Wednesday morning (19th April), he was curled up on my bed and I had to move him so I could get washed and dressed for work. I now only wish I’d told him how much I loved him, although im sure he knew/knows. Tabasco has a brother (not biological) called Jazz who 3mths lost a leg in a RTA, despite having only three legs, he still managed to give Tabasco a run for his money! I

We have looked everywhere for him, in the past he has been seen up a number of busy roads, so I’ve been in every bush looking for him (fearing the worst), we put up posters in the areas he roams and have contacted pet id and all local vets in the area. My mum is also in close contact with the council as I want him to come home no matter what, we lost a cat 4yrs ago to an RTA on highway above us and a little part of his ashes have been scattered and I wish I could do the same for Tabasco, its the not knowing that hurts the most.

Tabasco is a loving, adorable and unique cat, He is very much
loved and is seen as our first born! I have two little boys who miss him, although they are two young to really understand and its very hard when my two year old thinks every cat is Tabasco. I would love for him to just come home , the not knowing is what’s killing me the most, so even if he doesn’t look like my handsome boy anymore I just want him to come home, so I can have closure and move on. I always joke to hubby I’d have him stuffed when He died of old age, because I would like him to be by my side forever. Tabasco I love you very much and hope you are happy where ever that maybe xxxxx
Tabasco's human is devastated at his loss - could we ask all residents in the vicinity of Britannia Close and the surrounding areas of Smallwood in Redditch, to please Search Sheds and Garages Thoroughly and to keep a good lookout for him. His size will make him rather distinctive.

We do have a POSTER if you would like to show your support by displaying one.
