Molly was 15 months old at the time she went missing.  She is neutered and is a light brownish/ginger stripy tabby cat with a beige base colour. No distinguishing marks, but had pink pads on a couple of paws, was wearing a black collar with red writing, with a pink infra red barrel attached. She was also micro chipped, and I have notified Petlog.

We think she was lost around the 10th October 2005. I went on holiday on the 9th and a neighbour was looking after the two cats. I had fed Molly on the morning of the 9th, the last time I saw her.
Another neighbour reported seeing her on the morning of the 10th, meowing to get in at the front door, which was her habit. We do have a catflap, which is why she was wearing the infra-red barrel on her collar.

The weather at the time was very mild, nothing unusual going on,
There was a big black & white cat hanging around the garden, and we had to shoo him away a few times, as he was tormenting them. The funny thing is I haven't seen him since.
That together with our going away may have unsettled her, but other then that I don't think anything else would have.

My other cat Minnie, decided to move in with my neighbour a couple of days after I went away, because presumably she was lonely. She came straight back when I come home a week later, and doesn't go far now. She has also become very affectionate and likes to see where I am.

Molly was very adventurous and a tomboy in cat way, she wasn't a girly cat at all if that makes sense. She was very friendly, although I don't think she would let anyone pick her up, but I could be wrong. We got her when she was 5 weeks old and I had to hand feed her with cat milk for a couple of weeks.

We are missing her very much. I have nearly given up hope of seeing her again, my husband thinks she is dead, but no news is good news I suppose.

Does anyone out there know anything of Molly's whereabouts - would you help locate her by displaying a POSTER  in a prominent position ? - Please send for YOURS.
