Bitten was lost last August 2005, I was away on holiday for two days (14-16 August) which he doesn’t like, being looked after by neighbour so don’t know exactly when he vanished, he was receiving treatment for the rash (a flea allergy) on his ears

I have 3 other cats including his twin brother; his step-sister was desperate for the first few months of his absence; they have more or less adjusted I think.

He is a good hunter; very affectionate though doesn’t like being picked up; wild periods (chasing tail etc.); doesn’t like me being away; goes out at night and has been known to be gone for as long as three nights, never this long

If he’s found another home and was being well looked after, I think I’d leave it at that—but it’s driving me mad not knowing where he is.
 
Bitten disappeared last August, to date that is only aproximately 20 weeks, not that long for a cat to be a stray and fending for itself. So if anyone knows of a stray Black cat , if anyone has taken one in and adopted him - Please have him Scanned for a Microchip or Contact Bitten's human .
The not knowing is an awful thing to cope with.
