Marmaduke hasn't been seen from about Saturday 26th Nov. mid-day onwards

He was a rescue cat adopted months ago, he is a timid cat and it took him four weeks to come out from under the bed when he first arrived at our home and he didn't miaow for ages.
Now he likes to explore the common woodland out the back, eats like a horse and likes to have his tummy rubbed.

Our other cat, Basil, did not take too kindly to Marmaduke at the beginning they had a few minor fights just to show 'who is boss' type of thing but after that they have been fine and they often say hello to each other when they come in by sniffing each other. However they do not really socialise together as Basil likes to be on his own, though I have noticed Marmaduke mimicking Basil's behaviour sometimes. Basil is generally a placid cat and avoids fighting 99% of the time. He did stay close to us for the first few days even at night time and was more affectionate than normal, when we were searching for Marmaduke, a couple of times he joined us on the search miaowing as we went!

There are another 4 cats in the immediate area where we live, one is very gentle and keeps himself to himself, two are new; one is very timid the other has a fascination with Basil and the final cat is very spiteful and is always looking for a fight.

All those who read this and live on and around Croydon Road, Hayes Common / Colyers Wood & Keston etc., Please pass the word that Marmaduke is missing - could you all Search Garages and Sheds and keep a Lookout for him - if he has lost his bearings on the common, he will eventually show up around houses, it could be yours... We do have a POSTER could you display one ?
