My Moggy's Gang - recent news
c0318 Maranello
Hi Sue,
I thought you would like to see some pics of Greta (our new Burmese
kitten). She is settling in very well and seems to be a worryingly
intelligent little girl...I think that she is going to more trouble
than the other two put together!!!!

Ducati is still a bit put out by the return of Maranello and the
arrival of Greta (especially as she takes every opportunity to jump
out at him!). Not only is he top cat around here, but he also seems to
think that he is top life-form! He has been causing all sorts of
neighbourhood trouble....its a good thing we only have 5 neighbours
and they all like cats! So far he has pulled one neighbour's dressing
gown off the clothesline to make him self a comfy bed, punctured the
toddler next-door's bouncey castle, appeared inside other people's
houses disturbing their cats and children, taken to sitting in full
view of the neighbour's dog kennels so that the dogs bark (he hides
when anyone comes out to tell the dogs to be quiet!), and has also
taken himself out walking with my neighbour and her SIX dogs!!!!! I
seem to be endlessly apologising for his behaviour!

Maranello is just about back to normal after his big adventure. He is
very good with the kitten and will happily play with her until she
bites him too hard. He hasn't wandered off too far since his return,
and can usually be found sleeping in the flowerpot out side the front
door. We were worried that the kitten was stressing him out, but the
vet recommended something called a Feliway dispenser, which plugs in
like an airfreshner and releases cat pheromones...really amazing...the
cats were noticibly much happier after a couple of days! I am stocking
up on the spray version for when they all go to stay at the cattery
next week!!!!

Hope you are well and having lots of success reuniting cats with their people!

Best regards,
Abigail
