MyMoggy.com  - The Process
For those who don't know their way around..    The whole process is hands on.. 
 
Payment : We ask a payment of £5.50 this goes towards maintaining the site, and towards equipment for independent rescuers.. scanners / traps / cages /carriers  etc..

I am so sorry.. but due to the horrendous number of entries recently.. I am simply incapable of processing registrations that arrive without payment..  obviously those who pay must be given priority

Registration : The process begins with the registration forms.. these are found onsite http://www.mymoggy.com  link on the left side of the home page.  Photo's are sent to sue@mymoggy.com or 07974 671689 with postcode and name.
Once submitted the subject is entered according to postcode, on our area pages.. the entry is also put onto the map..link at the top of each area page.

Profile : If the cat in question has photo's and the owner has paid for registration, then a profile page is built giving more photo's and your cat's full story. The url / link of which should be used by owners as much as possible to refer to the cat's story....Now and again, as time allows non payers may find that I have gone on to do the profile.. as said - as time and effort allows and is unlikely in busy periods. Twitter :   From the main site www.MyMoggy.com, all entries are put on to twitter.. it acts as a log of updates to the site, owners can subscribe to the RSS feed that it generates..  and also retweet the entry of their cat and those of other moggy cats.Twitter is a great way of reaching outside the local area, many vets and rescues use the site in the same way.This feed also appears on Moggy's facebook via the tag 'RSS / Blog'   
 
Facebook :   Only 'lost' cats with photo's and a profile page on the main site  make it to Moggy's facebook 'wall' , undoubtably the best way of reaching the 'local population' 
Found cats are added to the albums here.  Facebook is also the natural way for owners & friends to interact and to keep up a commentary of your search under your cat's entry can only help in the search.  
If you are an owner, and your cat has made it on to our 'wall' .. then we also have a private area (invitation only) where I can keep up with searches and chip in where necessary. If you qualify then you can ask me to include you here. 
 
Photo's :   Ideally we would like photo's that are suitable for posters... if yours are not or if you do not have any, then lookalikes are acceptable. Search around the internet and on Moggy for these.. send to me including the link of where found.
I am no expert, but all photo's are enhanced to the best of my ability.. cropped, colour adjusted etc.. to show the cat off in the best way possilbe.  If you are registered with Moggy and would like a Moggy style poster... then please ask.
  
Time :    With being hands on, each cat can take an hour or so to get online.. delays are frustrating Please register and follow up by sending photo's via email to me.. sue@mymoggy.com.
