My beloved, funny cat Stanley has been missing from his home since 3rd August 2010. We have done everything recommended to find Stanley but still no joy, I go outside and shout him to come home everyday, our family is just not complete without him.
Stanley has been missing since Tuesday 3rd August 2010. He has been missing twice before, the last time was in 2007, and on both occasions he came back within a week. Stanley hates to be shut in and loves to sit in the field watching the world go by. Stanley doesn't walk he skips everywhere, the last time I saw him he was skipping up the garden, ignoring our ducks, before heading over the fence into the field. He has an unusual way of getting what he wants, he will stick his claws in your foot and run to where he wants you to be, he had done that to be fed at around 5pm on the 3rd August and then he went out to play and didn’t come back. We have 4 cats (including Stan) and a small dog, Stanley loves them all and they love him. Our other male cat, Barney, is missing him the most as he often cuddles up to Stanley. Stanley will also pop in next door to play with their cats and is sometimes seen in the trees in their garden. Next door have a kennel and Stanley will sometimes sleep in there if the weather is bad. Since Stanley went missing the weather has been terrible with excessive amounts of rain and he would normally be at home on days like that. When we close our garage door we always wait a minute and then re-open it because Stanley has often sneaked in behind us. Stanley is a healthy cat although he is a bit knock kneed and sometimes he limps on his back legs, the majority of his trips to the vets are to have grass removed from his soft pallet (which happens at least once a year).
