"If anyone has any information about a cat in the area matching Rory's description we would love to hear from you.

We miss him very much, our house doesnt feel like home anymore without him."

We have had Rory since he was 6 weeks old. He is now 5 and lives in a built up area of mainly terraced and semi detatched houses, there are surrounding rural areas. We moved house last month and Rory settled well into the new place and seemed very relaxed although he has always loved the outdoors so was eager to get out and explore.

He was kept in the house for nearly three weeks and then we gradually let him go a little further and stay out a little longer. He had been going out for a couple of hours at a time and coming back in, then four days later on Tuesday 16/03/10 he went out in the evening and we have not seen him since.

He has a lovely character, enjoys cuddles and is very talkative especially when he comes in from the outside.

Since he went missing we have been in contact with all the vets and animal organisations in the area, posted leaflets through five hundred nearby houses, and have been walking for miles every night looking for him.

We miss him very much and are desperate to see him again.
