" Our 17 month cat Willow went missing on 15.12.09, she's never been missing before and isn't in her nature, as although she loved the outdoors she didnt stay out more than an hour or so at a time.

We all miss her so desperately, it's as though a light has gone out of the home. Her brother Buzz misses his playmate and is very subdued.

If anyone has seen Willow or is looking after us can you let us know as we want her home with us

Willow went missing on Tuesday 15th December - I last saw her going out of the cat flap at 8.30am that morning just before I left to go to work.

Usually both Buzz (her brother from the same litter) and Willow are waiting for us to return from work around 7pm. When we arrived back that evening Willow wasn't home. we waited an hour and then went into the garden, into the woods at back, a few houses up and down calling her - we kept calling until about 1am.

The day Willow went missing the weather had turned very cold, the next day it sleeted and then snow for about 4 days after that.

Willow is a very loving cat to her owners but slightly nervous of strangers - she always came into the living room in the evening after we were back from work and usually slept in the spare room but more often than not came to sleep with one of us either lying on top of us of at the bottom of the bed. She is a very sweet natured cat.

Typically she used to go out in the mornings and then sleep in the afternoon - and go out a little in the evening or at night. She is fairly independent and lively and loves playing outside but it isn't in her character to wander off.

Since she has been gone her brother Buzz's personality has changed. He cried and went off his food for the first few days and sleeps most of the time now, whereas before he was always lively and out and about (more than Willow). He has also taken on a few of her characteristics e.g. sleeping where she did and generally being more dependent than he was before e.g. sitting on our knees.

He appears to be looking out for her all the time - he sits looking out the window or in the garden looking around. When there is a noise his ears prick up
