" Please please help us find our beloved Maisie, we miss her so much and feel so guilty that after rehoming her we have allowed her to get out and disappear. "

Maisie came to us from a RSPCA rescue handed on to Cats protection for rehoming.

She is FIV+ so was kept indoors and we were in the process of trying to get her used to a harness with the plan of taking her out in the garden.

She initially was very shy & still is with strangers but is the most loving and affectionate cat who constantly 'talks' to us and when miaows its with a funny squeak on the end. She loves playing with her 'da bird' dangly stick with various attatchments ( mouse/feather/furry thing) bolting round the sofas like a cat possessed to catch her 'prey'.

We have 3 fishtanks & a large proportion of her days were spent eyeing up the fish & presumably plotting ways of getting into the tanks & how to get the fish out!!!

She has spent 6 months looking at our garden where she bolted when she escaped so we are hopeful she will recognise her surroundings even if she hasnt been out since we adopted her.

She escaped whilst we were taking a furniture delivery someone opened the bedroom door where she was shut in for safety, unfortunately all other doors to our building were wedged open. she ran down the back path into the back garden & was last seen jumping through the hedge to the wild garden next door.
