Tiny lives with her companions in a built up area; rows of avenues with 2 storey Edwardian terraced buildings with ground and upper flat to each building. Back yards facing onto alleyways - high walls to the yards. We live near to the end of a block of terraces. At the bottom of my street (about 30 houses down, 2 blocks down) and over a road is a large park (Saltwell Park).

Tiny and my other cat Alfie who is 5, moved into the area (Bensham in Gateshead) 10 weeks ago (9 weeks before Tiny went missing). We moved from Sunderland which is approx 10 miles away and so she does not know the area. She was becoming very restless to be let out of doors (going to the front door and trying to peer under, frequently sitting at the windows to look outside, being aware of other cats etc. and miaowing to be let out).

For roughly a week beforehand, she had been put into a small dog cage (open wire sides and top) in the yard several times for a few hours so she could get some fresh air.

On the day she went missing, Thursday July 2nd, last Thursday, which was the first day I had let her out without putting her in the cage, she went out at approx 2pm. At approx 4 pm, I went out and whistled for her, and heard her miaowing. When I saw her, she was on the back wall of the upstairs neighbours' wall (just next to my back gate). I lifted her off the wall as she looked unsure about getting down herself. I let her out later that evening and she jumped onto my outhouse roof which joins to the back wall. She was not there when I went to bed that night, and she has not been back since.

The two days after she went missing were sunny and hot; on the Saturday it rained heavily, and we have had very very heavy rain showers for the few days following that. The showers have mostly stopped now and it is cooler.

Tiny is a very strong willed tempremental cat and does what she wants when she wants. She is a very clean cat who likes to hide her poos or do them somewhere they can't be seen.

I do not really know what she would be like around strangers, if people visited the house where we lived before she would stay out of the way, but she is affectionate with people she knows. I do not think she would go up to someone in the street, although I have know way of knowing this for sure. She is extremely loving and purring with me when she is in the mood and loves to sit on my knee. She has been known to go into someones house if the door is open, but I think this would only be if she didn't see anybody there.

She is a thin, small boned cat cat that looks like a young cat. She eats OK, but can be picky and doesn't eat big amounts at a time. She has clear bright eyes and her skin, fur and teeth are in excellent condition.

"Please please help me to find Tiny.
She is a small black and white Felix type cat and has gone missing the first time I let her out of our new house. She is missing from Bensham in Gateshead, near Saltwell Park. We have moved to a different town for a fresh start and I was looking forward to her making new furry friends and being happy in our new home. Her companion, my other cat, looks lost without her, as he is a house cat and she was his only companion...
