We don't really know where Lulu has been for the past 3 weeks. A lady who lives 1/2 mile away from us noticed her walking along her fence and going into the surrounding gardens 3 days ago. She thought she might be lost so started to feed her ( Left over fish, chicken and she bought her some Brekkies ) and Lulu stayed around her house. The lady said she was very hungry but only gave her small portions so as not to overload her tummy. She slept under her "lean to" so the lady gave her a blanket. Lulu kept meowing at the lady and following her around ( the lady's friend suggested that she should keep her). This went on for a couple on days then the lady decided to ring the RSPCA. She couldn't get through on the Tuesday night so tried early Wednesday morning. They gave her my "in-laws" telephone number because it was them who first registered her whilst I was away. She contacted my Father-in-law who rang my husband.  I heard his half of the conversation but there was no mention of Lulu ( I just thought they were talking about some sort of gardening job as they're both in the trade ). My husband said he was "just nipping out " ( which he often does ). He came back 10 minutes later with Lulu in his arms saying "suprise!" ( I was on the phone at the time trying to book my car in for an MOT ). My husband said my face was a picture and I was talking most in-coherently. ( the garage must have thought I'd gone mad).

Lulu was so pleased to be home. She went straight to her food; walked around the house meowing and telling us such a "tale". She climbed on my lap and we spent the next 45mins like that until I had to take my car for it's MOT!

Since then Lulu has followed me around the house, eaten well, washed and slept lots. Her sister, Lucy, is a bit disgruntled. I think it's the strange smells on Lulu that she doesn't like. She keeps spitting and grumbling at her.Lulu just looks at her. We hope it'll pass in a couple of days and they'll be sisters and pals again. They used to love chasing each other around the house and garden. However, they won't be going outside for a few weeks until they've both settled down again.

It's great to have her home. Thanks to mymoggy.com for all the support. I'll certainly keep logging on and watching out for other lost cats because I know how I felt and if I can help anyone else, I will.

 All the best,

Alison and Lulu. XXX
