Bo, is a 4 ½ yr old chipped white/ginger/black tortoiseshell female, missing from Brockhill, Redditch... Hi Sue   GREAT NEWS!!! Late last night a very thin, very sorry looking Bo came  home!!!!!!!!
She is as light as feather - whereever she may have been she wasn't eating. She scoffed 3 bowls of food, burped and went to sleep on our bed! This morning when I was phoning all the vets/rescue centre's to let them know she was all over me, licking my nose, purring very loudly and generally being the great moggle she is! Kev and I would like to still send the £5 cheque to you as we both feel you have been very helpful and a great resource.

Sue,  I was just typing up an update for CAT Chat forum and you'll never believe this, I heard this little miaww like sound and my daughter said it was something on the TV, then I looked round and guess who had strolled in , yes a very hungry Amber with the strangest miaow ever. I'm overjoyed, thanks for all your support (oh I hope she hasn't miaowed herself hoarse being locked in somewhere) shes starving and scoffing food down like its going out of fashion, the poor little soul.             I'm over the moon to see her, she smells musty as if she could have been trapped somewhere like a shed but with all the sightings that is unlikely. My guess is shes been out galivanting and exploring the place, I'm so glad she remembered about us after 13 days.  Thank you so much for all your help and support, you and the CAt Chat forum have really kept me going  Bye for now will, email later (by the way we have all windows shut now , she's going nowhere for a while thats for sure)    Nik x

c0458

Emily an 18 mth old female mainly Black with White tummy and paws. She's wearing a Silver collar with a Fish shaped ID tag.
Fairly timid.
Hi Sue, Just wanted to let you know the good news - we got Emily back a couple of hours ago.  She had been living in a building site on Whitegate Drive. She's very very thin, but apart from that, she seems in good health. She's going to the vet in the morning to make sure.  The lady who lives next to the building site has a black and white cat and a cat flap. Emily got into their house (yesterday, I think), and the lady's elderly mother fed Emily thinking it was their own. Emily went back today and the mother noticed that she wasn't their's but was starving, so she fed her again. When her daughter came home, she told her about the starving cat that looks like theirs - the daughter remembered seeing our posters, so she went out to get our address, and then came round to tell us. She took my husband back to her house, he called Emily a couple of times and she came running to him. Yes, i will be getting her chipped - previously, I had thought she didn't need it and that a tag / collar is far easier to read. How wrong was I???? She's lost so much weight that she's lost her collar and tag. She seems really happy to be home - she's not stopped meowing and purring since she got back, and she's following me everywhere.
I'm so happy - the last sighting was over a week ago, and I was starting to give up hope a bit.
Thank you very, very much for all the help and advice you've given to us during this time - its much appreciated.
Liz            A big Thankyou to those who contacted Emily's humans - we couldn't do without such caring folk

Thank you very much for your help and advice regarding our cat's disappearance, but luckily we have found her!!  I went back where she was lost in Blackpool and talked to few local residents . She was spotted by one of them who rang me later that day to say that he thought he had seen her.  When I came back I searched a long time near the spot she was sighted and had given up and was driving away when my friend in the passenger seat spotted her walking along in a front garden near the main road.  What a relief and thank you so much for your website and your interest.    Mr and Mrs Marshall

Pumpkin is a 2 1/2 years old Pale Ginger & White striped Male Tabby, neutered and chipped
Pumpkin returns home on Halloween.     Pumpkin is home!!! 17 days missing and on Halloween night, I caught him via the cat trap.  When I went in the garden to check, it was raining lightly. I thought "Guess I won't be able to trap anymore tonight". Then I saw the trap was shut, and I heard a plaintiff  "Meow", and I knew that it was Pumpkin's meow. And it was! The little "Houdini" is back, looks like he lost a little weight, not much, and is otherwise OK. I brought him in, opened the trap, and he meowed forever, then started purring. My Pumpkin is home, how appropriate, on Halloween, and all is well again.  Thank you to all SO MUCH for your thoughts, prayers, and encouragement. I could not have thought of all those tricks to find him or continued without your help.

'Remi' 9th Nov.2005 - 13th Nov.2005
c0542
Remi a 2yr old male, neutered and chipped, LH Persian cross, mainly White with Black markings on his head, back and Black bushy tail with a Pink nose
Dear Sue, I'm glad to say Remi has finally turned up safe and sound.  He is a bit skinny and his hair is matted in places, but he is fine.  He looks and acts like he is happy to be back home and luckily hasn't shown any inclination to go back outdoors for the time being.  I've bought both of them collars with name tags on and fitted them on also.  Mona has finally stopped fretting, although she did spend some time hissing and growling at him when he first came home.
Tim and I spent another hour in Ashton Park from 1am - 2.15am calling his name and rattling his food box, and after a while we heard some dogs barking and growling nearby, and that made us think that maybe Remi could hear us and was making his way towards us and the dogs had seen or smelt him and that was why they where barking.  I kept praying he would come to us, or at least find his way home from wherever he was.  We finally decided to go home and as we walked in the house, Tim said "Remi is home", and there he was just making his way in through the back door we had left open before leaving.  Tim and I are convinced it was the shaking his food box and calling for him that led him home, and we want to say a very big thank you for all your help and suggestions over the past few days.
You are an angel, Toki, Tim and Mona :D

Hi Sue. For some reason my internet will not let me onto the mymoggy website, or the one that you have created.... its very annoying!! I wanted to go online and tell people to still have hope about their cat because i never thought i would see Baz ever again, but here he is after 5 months! If you can, please can you publish this email on the site to let all the cat owners read..... I got very depressed at night thinking about my cat, Baz, about where he was and what was happening to him and everything, but then we got a call from one of our old neighbours, and my mum had to kind of, creep up on him, then we just got him and i was so so so happy!! He's my little baby, well.... actually he is very fat hehe but the vets said he was healthy.. So people who have lost their cats, put up posters and have hope.... Good luck to everything, and thankyou to Sue xxx

Sue You wont believe this!
He came home!  My mum called me earlier to say he had turned up, filthy rotten dirty and having lost at least half his body weight so it seems he has been locked in somewhere for almost a month!
As you can imagine I am overjoyed and when I get home from work he is going to get suffocated with love and hugs.  I had totally given up hope so I cant quite believe my babys at home waiting for me.
Thank you so much already for all your kind words, please accept my £5 chq as a donation, I know it isnt much but I would like to pay you for the time and effort not to mention kind words.

Sue
I am sure you will be glad to hear that we now have JJ back!!
We had given up all hope - he had been gone for nearly 5 months and we thought we would never see him again.
However, last week-end I received a call from a lady who did not live that far away saying that she had been feeding a cat similar to our adverts.
I went to look assuming that it would be yet another 'look-alike' (we have been phone and gone to look at several such over the past few months).
However, it was him!      Amazingly, he still had his collar on but he would not let anyone get near enough to look. He was very nervy at first but seems to have settled down again now an is being super affectionate!!
We are keeping him in for the time being and my husband is muttering about sophisticated surveillance equipment!.

It is really good to have him back.

Small fluffy Lilac Point Birman, clearly recently owned and cared for. About 12 years old. No microchip. Turned up about 2-3 weeks ago  Hi Sue Just to let you know some good news - Fluffy of Winchester is back with her owner! It was an elderly lady who lived round the corner. She'd informed the Chief vet that she'd gone missing but he hadn't bothered to tell the rest of his staff apparently. Anyway, she is 17, not 11 and is now happily back home.    Chris is now missing having a cat about the place (I think he'd got a bit attached!) so I think another cat might find itself with a new home in the coming months! Good news all round.    Thanks for your help,    Jane

He is an 11 year old large neutered ginger Tom (with no white markings), who wasn't wearing a collar at the time...
Hi Sue, Great news this morning. Boodie made his way home in the night! My brother had gone out for a cigarette at 5am (he works nightshifts so often wakes at odd hours when he is home) and came back in thinking nothing of it. About five minutes later he heard miaowing at the door and a very skinny Boodie appeared. We think he was attracted back by our squeaky door which had been very quiet during the cold dry weather but had regained its squeak in the rain! He was very dry and clean so we think he has been indoors somewhere for some time at least, but we can feel his backbone, which is highly unusual as he likes his food. He has been sleeping curled up next to me for the last couple of hours and hasn't stopped purring! Thanks for all your help with hints and tips. We had had several sightings of him from neighbours over the last few days thanks to our poster and door knocking campaign (including one report that he was terrorising a neighbours new kitten- suspect he missed having other cats around). We had tried putting used cat litter and old socks out in the garden, so hopefully he was attracted back by the scent.
Thanks again, Abbie (and Boodie)

Poppy a small Black SH Female, spayed and chipped and missing from the Shipley Road area of St.Annes...
Poppy was wearing her Red collar with Blue 'Scan Me' disc when she went awol. Poppy is Home !! It had been suspected that someone in the area was collecting cats which led to a complaint being lodged with the Police, soon afterwards Poppy appeared crying on her humans doorstep.
She was in good condition and looked well fed and still with her collar and 'Scan Me' disc intact. A neighbours cat, having been lost for a little longer, appeared within a day or so of Poppy sporting a different collar.
Poppy has been afraid to leave her human's side since arriving home and although clingy, she isn't so trusting and ducks when her human tries to stroke her; she is still a little traumatised and refuses to go out at certain times of day, prefering to use a litter tray - Something she hadn't done since her 'kitten' days.
