We have had news that a neighbour has found our cat dead. Thinking it was there's they went ahead and buried it. Then there cat turned up safe and sound.
She saw a poster that I put out last night, and I think if it wasn't for your help maybe we would never know what happened.  It sounds like Splodge had been hit by a car.
Many thanks for your help over the last week. When I am back in work I will donate some funds through PayPal to assist in buying a scanner. Michele (wife) is now looking for a replacement!

Sue, hi there. We are very sad today. Paris was found dead last night, under a bush very near to our home. It appears as if she died two weeks ago, the evening she went missing. Thank you very much for all of your advice to try and find her, and a big thankyou to anyone else on your site that kept an eye out for her. Keep up the excellent work on your site.

Hi Sue, just to let you know that Charlie is now safe and sound at home. The RSPCA picked him up this morning behind Morrison's supermarket (about 3.5 miles away). God knows how he got down there, but 3 weeks later he's back here and already seems to have settled in again. The advice you gave was invaluable and we are grateful. 'HE'S HOME' !!!!! I woke uo this morning at 5 oclock to find him
waiting at the back door to come in. He ate 3 dishes of food so he clearly has been shut in somewhere. He is in good shape, just a little thin. The odd thing is he has a badly infected mouth?? very swollen bottom lip and gum, and it stinks! Maybe he has been rubbing and biteing to try and free himself. I've sprayed it with some antiseptic spary and will just see how it goes on today. May need a trip to the vet, but nothing serious - thank god!!

She is a Brown/black/ginger tabby a very small and dainty girl. She was spayed three weeks ago - the wound has healed but is still visible.
Hi Sue    Just to let you know that we had a result following another session of leafleting last night.  It was not the result we would have liked but Rosie (as we know her) is safe, well and happy.  I had a call last night from someone living nearby to say that she had arrived there on Saturday and she had been missing for 8 weeks.  Seems she managed to find her way home but not sure where she had been for the five days in between!  The owner was able to describe the collar she had been wearing when lost and she had been with them since being very small - so happy ending but we are sorry to lose her.  Thanks again    Debbie

Leo is Home after found hiding under the unfinished floor of a kitchen extension being built by a neighbour. Very thin and scruffy but will be ok and everso happy to be home after footprints on the neighbours glass table gave the game away....

If not careful they will find Jacob doing this again - simply to get the huge dish of prawns on his return :) Rather thin & dirty, obviously trapped somewhere nearby. Sounds as though the leg work and posters helped in getting him home...

WOOHOOO!!!! im over the moon! woke up at 3.30 am this morning, and looked on the bad for our other cat , bomber, he wasnt there so i thought, oh, he's out looking for pilchard again....rolled over and heard the distinctive jingle of her bell, out it down to hearing things, then i heard a meiow, and then she appears at the window!!!! skinny as a skinny thing, but otherwise in top condition!!!!
will email you later with more details, too excited at the mo, just wish i knew where she had been!!!! i reckon she has been locked in a garage, as she looks A1, coat still shiny, no damage, just very dusty you are an absolute legend, your advice is top notch and the 'home safe' section really helped me through the darkest parts of this week

Wearing his Yellow collar with fish on when he went awol in Keighley....              Hi Sue   Just to let you know the good news.  Nemo is home!  He walked in nearly 3 weeks after disapearing, as if he had not been away.  I think he has been trapped somewhere as he is much thinner (good job he had a little bit spare before he went away!!)  He has been checked over by the vet and he is fine, just needs feeding up and TLC.  He has a few scuffed claws but no signs of RTA, think he has just been scraping to get out of somewhere and he has also lost his voice, he must have been using it a lot.  He has not left my side since (me and my shadow!)             Thank you so much for your advice, it is valuable and I will pass it on.  Your website is fab as while I was advertising and writing stories about him I did less worrying and felt like I was doing somthing to get him home again.           Thank You

An all over ginger lad, very friendly. Has a completely silent miaow. Has injury to head which appears to have been treated by a vet quite recently. One eye has suffered some damage and appears to be much darker than the other.
Nice to know that Monty has now found his forever home.

Our nice neighbours saw her in the next garden over at about 11am this morning and we herded her back to the house. She doesn't seem to know where she is, or really recognise us yet. She's just drinking and sleeping at the moment, she's going to the vets tonight. I'm not sure what damage the dog did, her back legs seem very wobbly and I think her back may be inflamed. I'll let you know how we get on at the vets.

Sue,  I am sorry to say that we found Ruby this morning. Someone had dropped her off at the end of our road, she looked as if she had died a few days ago. It seems that she had been hit by a car, or ill-treated. The lady who lives in the corner house found her this morning and came to get me. I can only assume that she was found and someone returned her to our road as a result of my leaflets and posters. It is horrible that we do not know how she died, and it would have been nice for someone to communicate with us, but at least we know where she is now.
I am so upset, but would like to thank you for your help, and for the help that you would have given to us by advertising on your website.

Sue, I'm delighted to tell you that we have found Edward's owners (his real name is Billy, and he is 6-7 years old). They responded to an ad in our local paper but had a look on mymoggy to see if it was their cat before they came over. Both Billy and his owners recognised each other straightaway and we all stood round grinning foolishly. Hopefully they will have him neutered to prevent further wandering. Thanks for your help on this, hoping for good results for other losts and founds.     Sara

Bart's back home !!!!   He has access to the house via my bedroom and he strolled down the stairs at 1.30am, meowed at me as he passed the open living room door and headed straight to his food bowl.   He looks fine, if a little grubby.     I'd been out this evening calling for him and putting up posters and a friend was going to help me put up lots more tomorrow.  Thankfully, I can now spend tomorrow afternoon removing the ones I've put up over the last few days.
His homing instinct has served us well.   You'll know from your own experience how over-the-moon we are to have him safely home.  Many, many thanks for your advice and encouragement.
We'd also like to say thankyou to Rachel of Bob Jones' Vets for her concern and 'out of hours' help she gave to help find Bart.

Hi Sue - Wanted to let you know that I had a call from a lady earlier on who advised that she saw a cat very similar to Bagel who had been in an RTA.  The timing and description (as far as she could say) fits in with Bagel.
We have also been to see the farmer who has the fields by where he was found, it was him that moved hia body and although didn't detail too much of a description we are fairly certain in our minds that it is Bagel they are both talking about.
Both Mike and I want to say thank you for the help and advice that you have given us in trying to track down our beautiful little boy in the short period we have been in contact with you.  I am very angry with myself that I didn't do something sooner though.
Keep up the good work, having people who know how we are feeling is a comfort.

We picked up this little feisty Black & White kitten (appr 10wk old) from the vets today. She was brought in after found wandering around late on Sat, 29th July.. She has a bad sore throat wound. Just to let you know that we tried very hard to find Hebe's owner (if she had one) but in the end we were able to rehome her to a lovely country home in deepest Kent. Another happy ending.

Panic over he's back. Well, got a phone call at work it must have been half six pm today. it was my sister saying one of our old neighbours might have seen Tom, he had got stuck on the roof of our old house. the neighbour said she noticed him 15 mins before calling us and said she'd been on the look out for him all week
and that he must have tried to get in today. So we had most of our old neighours out getting Tom down from the roof!!
He is now asleep on my bed.  He's skinny but no other marks or signs of ill health. Thank you for your time again, trust him to show up after what you have done putting him on the web site.

I registered my missing cat Barney this morning, only to find out at lunchtime that he had been found dead by a neighbour. We think he was killed by dogs on Friday night.

We (a total stranger and I) have found a very skinny little female cat, very dark brown and tan [would you class that as dark tortie?] at the junction of Dawes Road and Estcourt Road in Fulham, London SW6.

Hi Sue,   I've got great news dougal's come home, i dont know where he has been but he's in very good condition. I left some food out by the back door and poured the hoover contents out by the back door and yesterday morning my mum couldn't believe her eyes when she saw him and came running in with him to tell me i'm sooo happy he has returned, we suspect that someone close by has been feedig him. At least 3 years old, living rough for 6+months. Have been told Harvey went missing from home, owners looked, then moved (out of country?) then hobbes returned. i am trying to help,
Update: 'Harvey' is now in the care of fosterers - his matted coat has been removed and he is progressing nicely. He will soon be ready for a new home.
Harvey has been found a home, at a CPL fosterer.
The fosterer he was with went on holiday, and took Harvey and a kitten to be looked after by another CPL'er.
When she got back, she was told that Harvey and the kitten had become inseperabel-they slept together all curled up, and washed each other. harvey had come out of his shell-lots of furry headbutts purring and was very friendly to everyone. He was such a lovely boy that the holiday CPL'er kept him and the kitten! Very sweet, and I'm so happy for him.    Stuart

Just to update you. Despite photos/posters round quite a wide area, and contacting RSPCA and other agencies, no one has claimed “Ginger” (c1022), - now named “Leo”.   With the help of a marvellous Animal Rescue place in West London (the Mayhew Animal Home) who really kindly agreed to keep him in overnight to fast and the next night to recover, I have had him neutered, FIV and FeLV tested (fortunately both negative), vaccinated, and microchipped . He was so pleased to get back to his garden that after a big breakfast and cuddle, he went off and brought me a mouse, turning somersaults in glee!
I really hope tho’ that my cats will come to accept him and that he can move in here (I am deeply in love with him!), but in case not have already been in touch with circle of “cat women” friends and am confident of finding him the wonderful home such a glorious cat deserves. Thank you so much for all your helpful advice. Cosmo came home today after a couple recognised his photo from a 'Moggy' poster at local Vetinerary Surgery, Paul Grants of West Wickham. Cosmo's chip ensured he was speedily returned home to owner Diane who is understandably overjoyed at seeing him after this length of time.

Hi Sue, I have good news Mo is home she was found about a mile up the road in a ladies garage she had her paw stuck up her collar which has caused a nasty sore under her paw by her chest she has had an operation and is doing very well she was very very thin and very very happy to see me and especally my mum. I HAVE JUST RETURNED HOME FROM THE VETS WITH HER. SHE IS SLIGHTLY DEHYDRATED, HAS A SMALL CUT ON HER FACE AND HAS LOST HER COLLAR. SHE IS WEAK AND CANT JUMP BUT THE VET SAID SHE WILL BE FINE IN A COUPLE OF DAYS. I HAVE BOOKED HER IN TO BE MICROCHIPPED.
I WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU AS I BELIEVE IT WAS YOUR ADVICE THAT BOUGHT OUR CAT BACK.I KNOCKED ON NEIGHBOURS DOORS AND ALTHOUGH THEY SAID THEY HAD LOOKED I THINK THEY MUST HAVE LOOKED AGAIN - ITS TOO MUCH OF A COINCIDENCE.

We found Lilly about an hour ago; she was just round the corner from where we live. Not sure how she has managed to get there, maybe something startled her and she bolted, we will probably never know. She is very thin, hungry and disorientated. She didn’t seem to know who anybody was but appears to have re-familiarised herself with where the food bowl is. We think we will keep her as a house cat from now on, only allowed out on supervised outings to the garden J

Hi Sue, Good News… Im happy to announce that Chloe returned home very hungry and very dirty late last night, one week after she went missing. I think she had become trapped somewhere as her claws were very worn down (as if she had been clawing at a door or something). She had lost a lot of weight and ate a full tin of cat food within half an hour. We are so happy that she has returned and she will be getting tagged and chipped next week on here visit to the vets. I now have a long task of taking down a lot of posters, informing neighbors and vets.

Hi Sue Good news. Have got Ebby back. Some neighbours in one of the streets in front of mine saw one of the  posters I put up and contacted me. She was seen going into their shed. We eventually persuaded her to come out with some food.
Thanks to your advice to put posters up and to knock at the streets in front I was able to get her back. She is a bit thin but happy to be back and currently eating.

We must mention that during a break-in at the cattery - all cats were set free. The owners did a great job in rounding all cats up apart from PC who had feral tendancies. Further security precautions have been taken and in no way should the incident deter folk from boarding their pets there.

Looks well, but a little skinny, might have just decided to take a
second home, or wandered off and unable to find way back. Has been in our back garden, occasionally coming into house but wary of my other cats.

Mabel a 9yr old spayed Tortoiseshell female DSH with Green eyes has White bib and some White markings. She has a slight tear in one of her ears. Missing from the area of Main Street, Peasmarsh...
Hi Sue,   Just wanted to let you know that Mabel (c0920 on your site) has just turned up on our doorstep, having been gone for over 3 months. I can't begin to tell you how happy we all are - we're walking around with big soppy grins on our faces! She's very thin and a bit bald in places - we're taking her to the vets this afternoon, hope all will be ok with her.

After hitching a lift and jumping out of the window of a moving van, dodging traffic then disappearing into fields behind shops on the Main Street - Mabel has made her way home in 98 days.
We hope Mabel survives the cuddles :)
Update            Hi Sue   Vet says bald patches are flea/harvest mite allergy so he has treated her for that, plus antibiotics, spot on, and in a week he said to give her tapeworm stuff. She's going back for more antibiotic injections, but he seemed confident that she will pick up and be fine. She is still so trusting and chatty - what a complete star!!

Sweetie is a smallish Tabby – Female, the vet thinks she is about 5 years old but she does look younger, she has been around for at least the last 10 days, she was very hungry so may have been missing a while.
Sue  I have managed to find the owner of the lost cat, she has been and collected her tonight, she came from the otherside of the town I live in, a neighbour of the owner saw a poster I put up locally, she had been missing for about 3 weeks.

Hi Sue   Just thought Id email to let you know we got a phone call this afternoon saying that they think they had got Gizmo, which it was. He was in Argyll road which is about threequarters of a mile away, he doesn't look any thinner than he always has been just dirtier and a bit confused but alert and no sign of any injuries. He's back home asleep now so thanks for the help, the posters did the job (which we'll take down now) and have you any advice now he's back?         thanks again   Robert

Hi      After nearly 7 weeks Lunar has returned home, a neighbour over the road saw her, she didn't want to cross the road. She's lost about 4 to lbs. very hungry.
Shadow doesn't know how to except her back.

Hi Sue, its Dianne (Sofie's mum). Thank goodness for that. Sofie finally returned home today, just under one month since she left. A very kind lady called this morning to say she had seen my posters, asked for a description of Sofie and said she thought she may have her. Immediately I went to her house (near the Hole in one pub, Lytham). I was so sure it would be her, yet so scared in case it was another false alarm. The lady and her husband looked as nervous as I. My dreams had been answered and our Sofie is now home. I must be the happiest girl around today. I will telephone you later to discuss further. Thanks for your kind words on Thursday evening.
