  Hi Sue,
  I had just got back in from postering and putting flyers through the doors when I got your email. I managed to do 2 things on your list - hang out some socks and her blankie that she slept on in her basket and deactivate the magnetic cat-flap - and BINGO - she's come home safe and sound - with 'treasure' attached to her magnet. She's starving hungry and lost some weight (she loses weight easily) so I reckon she was shut in somewhere and the posters / flyers have done the trick!

• Possibly unneutered and in poor condition - very thin. This may be due to age rather than lack of food but always seems hungry when he visits on a daily basis.

  Good news - managed to get Scruff to the vet today and he is chipped. It turns out he is neither lost nor a stray. His name is Caspar and he lives...eh hem (embarrassed throat clearing) in the neighbouring road.  It looks as though he is simply very elderly and has taken such a shine to our two cats that he is visiting us as a retreat or holiday home.
  
  I think its safe for him to be removed from your database. Many thanks for being there though and keep up the wonderful work.

• A DFH Tabby cat with Golden Brown eyes.
• Coat length fluffier than a short haired, around 1inch in length. beautiful condition and a tubby well fed puss.
• All over Tabby colouring but what I'd call a golden honey tabby as apposed to the brown tabby's. And large boned and well built too.
  Laid him, (believed to be a neutered male ) up at edge of hedgerow, if standing with the substation in front of you, and A32 behind you, he is over to the right, by the blackberry bushes.
  He didn't suffer, would have died instantly.
  When we 1st saw him, we stopped straight away, to move him off the road, incase he was hit again. it must have just happened, as he was still warm, I said a prayer, and gave him a hug and kiss and laid him out of harms way.

  Last night Torres was returned home to us thanks to your website. He was found down by the  yacht club in Thornton, and has been wandering around there for a while apparently. A family fed him and brought him inside while checking the my moggy website to find out he was missing and contacted me to collect him. Apart from being a little thinner than before he is practically back to his nornal self! Again, many thanks to you and the family who found him.

  we have just come back from behind morrisons on squires gate lane around the gazette offices after going every night for a week and got tigger back!! he was in the bushes and came out with a black and white cat! the other cat ran off so couldnt get a good look but not sure if its worth people whom have lost a black and white cat looking in the area? Tigger has lost weight and has a weepy eye so we will get him checked out as soon as possible!other than that hes fine going to sleep on the bed after some food-
   
  I would like to thankyou for all the advice you have given us my only worry now is he obviously likes it round there as was found there many years ago when lost an has been round that area over a week!what can we do to try keep him closer to home?obviously we will be keeping him in a few weeks now but unsure what else we can do?

  My search is over... Today I spoke with the lady who was there at the scene of the cat getting hit by a car and she told me that it looked just like Nomar. And when it happened and how and exact time. It all matched up to My Nomar. Then she says "I know how you feel My sisters cat is missing" I asked her what he looked like and she told me "Just like your cat. I asked where her sister lived and she said Long View Rd which is where the people who had called me and told me they saw Nomar In there yard. I told her that I have been looking for the same cat which was actually hers. I told her that everyone in the area is on the lookout for her cat. (Bubbles) there is still a missing cat out there that fits the description of mine. So Anyway, I have my closure and can move on.

  It is with a heavy heart that I have to inform you that Wally was put to sleep today. This morning he was very weak and unable to stand. I realised it was time to call it a day and had arranged an evening appointment with the vet. However, when I arrived home around 2pm Wally was just lying on my bed nearly brain dead. His breathing was very laborious and I expected him to go at anytime. However, I decided to take him to the vet straight away to relieve his suffering.
  We have been left with a big gap in our lives from this wonderful, gentle and loving cat. He will live in our memories for ever, but now is the time for us to see more of our two girls, who for some reason decided to avoid Wally at all cost. Maybe they knew more about him than us.
   
  Thanks for all your support, kind words and advice. It is with sadness in our hearts that we could not give Wally a longer life.

(AL8)  Very thin, but otherwise seems healthy.  No microchip.  Silver/Blue reflective collar with bell.  We are feeding her, but our two cats are not happy having her around and we would love to reunite her with her owners. 
• Has been hanging around and breaking into our house since 20/03/06. 
  

  We took her to the cats protection league in stevenage after about a month.  We tried putting notes in her collar and leafleting locally but no one came forward.  No idea what happened after that.

  I only uploaded Tinkerbelle or Tinky as we call her, yesterday. She had been missing for 6 days but came home today. She is well but got an eye infection and is moulting a lot. We are overjoyed that she came home she must have been trapped because she smells dusty. She let out 3 very big distressed cries when she came in, I will never forget the sound as she never usually cries at all   Will take her to the vet tomorrow to sort out the eye infection and get her checked out.

  Hi Sue, 
  Just to let you know we found Ceefer last night! After four weeks to the day. 
  We had been to the pub and on the way home my husband noticed the back end of a cat in some undergrowth  practically over the busy main road from our house behind the local pizza parlour.  I could hear a cat crying so I called his name and a little head popped out and I knew straight away it was him.  I shouted to my husband ‘ it’s ceefer’ I then gently called him and he crept out to me.  He is a bag of bones and ate three bowls of food when we got him home.  He is very sleepy, I presume this is normal after four weeks living rough.  Is there any advice you can give i.e. how long to keep him in for?
  I would like to thank you for your help and giving me hope over the last four weeks, my son, husband and I have now got our smiles back and can get on with our life.

  On arrival the scanner wasn't needed as said cat was recognised as one that her neighbour had lost a few days previously.

  After nearly 7 days from the time she went missing, Ebony returned home at 12.25am tuesday morning safe and sound.I'd just gone up to bed and thought I'd have a listen out the window, when I heard meowing and I knew straight away it was Ebony, I quickly ran downstairs and opened the back door and in she ran meowing away, me and my mum gave her the biggest cuddle ever [not too sure she really liked that] she was very hungry, but apart from that she's fine. So pleased to have her back home, it had been one of the worse weeks of our life.

  I took the cat to a shelter yesterday afternoon and he turned out to be microchipped so the owners were informed- so a good outcome in tragic circumstances. It suddenly occurred to me that they'd be open when vets were shut at the weekend so I dashed out and picked him up. I couldn't leave him in the end, it was so sad thinking of him lying there alone.

  Just wanted to let you know ,that after 6 weeks missing my dear little Kitty was taken to Folly gardens Vets Tewkesbury, sadly a victim of a RTA on the same day in Northway about a mile from our home.. surprisingly across the other side of the M5 !  we are so sad that after 6 weeks of being on the run and circulating over 250 posters we were unable to get her back alive and unscathed, Kitty looked incredibly well cared for, and is now resting in our garden . I have taken time off work today to send thanks to all the special people like yourself, who have been there for me, and for the kind people Tewkesbury who took time to call with possible sightings.

  Hi Sue, well I now have Jerry back!!! fabby news tonight I got a call from a lovely lady who said that Jerry had been eating her food that she leaves out for a fox lol I paid fifty pound to the rspca for the loan of a cat trap and eventually he went into it, mind you he wouldnt come to me he looked lost completely poor little soul and when the trap banged shut jeez he nearly took a major heart attack :( still he is back home now so vet beginning of the week and neutered and chipped for both of them! Ben isnt aware that his brother is home yet and Im kinda worried they may fight now with Jerry being away so long: after all he went missing on the 10th may! and its now the 23rd! Its been a mad night Ben is now out and was attacked by another cat:( he was covered in pee and poo when I managed to get hold of hm but he was so hyped up and in shock he struggled out my hands and Im now a mass of scratches he will come home thou Ive only let him out the past few days as he was extremely agitated in the house 24/7 Im a light sleeper so Ill hear him at the patio doors
  ( I have a spare bedroom that leads onto the garden!) its now nearly 2am and Im still up waiting on him coming back!! Im so chuffed I have Jerry back and will do my utmost not to let Alfie (devil child adhd toddler) anywhere near the patio doors haha, worry over regarding Jerry now worrying over Ben!!! then more worry when they meet again! lol Im going to be grey headed shortly!! and here was me thinking getting cats would be easier than having a dog!

  Dear Sue,I would like to give you the very happy news that my boy returned home late last night. Needless to say I am delighted. I haev no idea where he has been for the last three months, he is very hungry and very mucky, but apart from that he appears well. He is a a great example to not give up hope. As you know I had put up loads of posters, spoke to all my neighbours (several times bless them) and put an advert in the paper. Beyond that I printed 2500 leaflets and literally did a door to door campaign, planned to military precision (!), in an attempt to see if somebody had taken him in. Even this last week, I have been out just walking the streets looking for him and putting up fresh posters. After all of that he has just returned home on his own.Anyway, I will let you get on with your weekend. I just wanted everyone to know how happy I am that he has returned home.

  Just to let you know, after four weeks, Harley came back on Sunday afternoon. He just looked through the fence whilst we were all at home and my daughter screamed out and ran out to get him. He was quite skinny and had lost his normal loud miaow, apart from that he was fine, just extremely hungry. I suspect he may have been in a shed and had been unable to get out. We immediately went out to get him the best cat food we could get and have just been trying to keep up with his vast appetite.

  As for Mog, the cat I found dying, I did eventually manage to find her owner. She had put a notice in a local cafe, which I do not use, but I eventually saw it one day as I was passing.
  I rang her and told her the whole tale, which was very upsetting for us both but at least she got to know what happened to Mog.
  
  However, I feel a bit guilty as I had forgotten about my post on your website - I should have informed you that I made contact with her family. Perhaps you could add a note to the page reminding people to contact you when the family has been found.
  
  Thank you again for providing such a marvellous facility, which I relayed to Mog's owner and also to friends who are "cat people".

  Hi, we put up posters and I did flyers for the local houses. From this I have had about 7 separate callers, 5 of whom reported a cat being killed by a car on a nearby road matching Toby's description. The morning after he went out. They say the body was moved by some local builders. I am going to ask the builders about this when they return tomorrow. But I am pretty certain it must have been Toby :( I feel very grateful to the people who called and let me know even though it was bad news. So I don't need to advertise him as missing any more.   Heard meows in that house after I spoke to you last night so called the RSPCA again. I went in there this morning and heard nothing but the RSPCA came and searched the house just now and nothing. He doesn't think she is there but lent me the automatic trap just in case I have set this up downstairs (making sure none of my others are in there) and closed the inner door. I will go back soon and if she is not in there I will put the trap upstairs which is where I thought I heard the meows' yesterday and leave it overnight. If not then she is obviously not there
  
  She is back!!! She was in the trap in the bathroom of the derelict house. There was a hole in the bath and then a hole in the floorboards.Elke was convinced Jazzie was down there and she was.
  A huge thankyou to the RSPCA for responding and to Elke of  Cat Action Trust who rang Jasmin's human with the offer of help in searching the building.

My children and I said our poems and special messages planted forgetmenots  and said goodbye.  This has really hit me hard, we were expecting to have him for another 15 years if we were lucky. He slept all last night on my legs (cramp!) like a stunned slug and is now cleaning himself very diligently- almost white again.  He is also normally a very quite almost mute cat really; he hasn't shut up since reappearing! Poor wee mite, am very happy to have my mini tiger back!

  Please take Rosie of the your missing list. I used the poster and leaflet service from animalsearch.co.uk and their search team yesterday.  The search jogged someone’s memory in that same terrace of houses where she was first spotted.  They saw her going into the eaves of a shed and there she was!  I tried the trap which she completely ignored and ended up having my lunch (tuna sandwich) in the shed.  Within 10 minutes she was rubbing round my legs…

  Thanks for the emails and for leaving the voicemail….the fantastic news is that we have found Zvi, alive and well - thank God!!! We had been out shouting in the morning and the afternoon and we were going around again in the evening posting fliers with his picture on in all the houses around the area and heard a little crying.  We followed the cry and there was Zvi!  He was a bit scared and didn’t recognise us but we scooped him up and took him home. He dashed to his toilet, bless him, he must have been hanging on to it all day! Then he wolfed down 2 packets of his favourite meat. He was virtually opposite us, hiding behind 2 wheelie bins and had a ladies perfume scent on him – he definitely wasn’t there earlier in the day, so we think that someone must have had him indoors and maybe when they realised that we were not going to give up, they released him! Needless to say we are giving him lots of loving and have had a chat with him and told him not to scare us like that again.  He’s pretty much had the run of the house and we keep scooping him up and loving him…he’s loving it! Thanks for running such a great and worthy website – it’s a great comfort to know people like you are there and it focused our attention on trying to do something practical to find Zvi when we thought we’d never see him again!

  Fantastic news, Victor was found this morning not far from where he disappeared.  We got a call at 8.50 from a lovely lady, Beryl, who said she had our little Victor in her garden and he was having breakfast.  We shot round and sure enough it was him, unfortunately he ran off when he saw us, I think we scared him.  Beryl had been feeding him for three weeks and had just managed to get our number off his collar this morning.  We left our details and came home, happy that he was alive and well, but disappointed that he had run off.  We’d only been back 10 minutes when she rang back saying she had got him in the house and locked in the front room.  We shot round and I managed to pick him up and put him in the basket, he’s home safe now and seems quite settled, had a good look round and eaten.  We are keeping him in for a few days before letting him out again, which he’s not happy about.  We are just so happy to have him home. Thanks to you and my moggy and especially to people like Beryl who love animals we got him back.

Seems healthy although was very very skinny when we found her.
has not been groomed for some time so very very knotty. has weepy eyes due to nature of breed that need cleaning.
Appears to be deaf and has no teeth

  The RSPCA phoned us to say that a local lady had called to say she had found a brownish cat with no tail and she gave us the ladies phone number, we called and went to see if it was her and thank Goodness it was her, we’ve all slept properly for the first time since she went missing. We will certainly be taking her for Micro Chipping on the weekend of the 24 th!

  I am pleased to let you know Tiber arrived home on his own late Thursday night,  injured and very weak , just skin and bone, he obviousley hadn't eaten  must have been trapped somewhere but home safe and sound  now thank God. The vet  thinks it will take him at least three weeks to recover. But its so wonderful just to have him back .
  Just o give you an update on Tiber he needed to go back to vets and he had xrays done on colon and right pelvis which confirmed fracter but fortunately his joints on leg are fine.he needed a enema as he was unable to pass motion but is home again after his general anesetic and doing well. the vet said he must have been involved in rta to sustain those injuries just thought you would like to know. best wishes marion pace

• Bailey a 6yr old neutered and chipped male with Pale Green eyes White: Completely White, Pink nose, very long hair. Tufted
  ears, bushy tail.
• Wearing his Black collar with ID and magnet when he went missing from the area of Hawarden Road.
  Bailey seems to have had quite a journey during his time out..  eventually being taken in by a young gent who's flatmates weren't overkeen on the catty hairs, then by a lady in Romford who eventually got around to getting him scanned for a chip. Where he was before that is quite a mystery...
  This is the second time that Bailey has gone missing - everything crossed here that it is the last..

  Thanks for your mail. Pesta was taken in by Cats Protection. Last we heard he had recovered from a facial abscess and was doing well. They were planning to rehome him ASAP.
