RTA, on Progress Way the stretch just before Midgeland
RD, I was heading out of St Annes to Blackpool.
I spotted the RTA at about 11.45 this morning
The cat looked quite small (but not a kitten size) predominatly Ginger, but there could have been a little white under the chin and perhaps on paws. Certainly would have been instant, if that can be of any consolation to the owner

RTA noticed this morning on East Park Drive close to the mini roundabout with West Park Drive.  On the grass verge just before the roundabout on the Stanley Park side of the road.  Looked to be an adult brown/grey maybe tabby with white underbelly - was very wet so probably had been there since last night or the early hours.  Unable to stop due to traffic and being in the process of taking one of mine to the vets so not sure if there was a collar - someone may be looking for a missing moggy.

'Flash' found in the Clifton Drive area of Blackpool.
VERY friendly Black cat with white flash on the left side of HIS (unsure of sex) face ( right side as your looking at it ) the flash is wide by the mouth and tapers as it goes up to just above his eye. Has White markings on his FRONT toes, with White socks on rear legs.
His front teeth at the bottom have worn down, which makes us think he could be an oldish cat, although he doesn't act like an old cat. Seems to be confident around dogs also. When you talk to him, he meows back every time.
When eating he seems to shovel the food using his lower jaw, quite a strange method of eating.Was very thin, but due to him eating like a horse is rather round now ! Did have a dull coat, but now it looks nice again.

A cat was run over yesterday am I saw it at the side of Devonshire rd near Mansfield rd end. it was all black I think. we were in the car taking the kids to school. I dont know if it happened at night or early morning. I phoned the council so they could pick it up. If anyone reports they have lost a cat in this area it may have been theirs.

Quite clean and groomed although had ticks so have treated the cat.very quiet and placid and extremely friendly.A beautiful natured cat that appears to have strayed from somebodys home.

A large tabby and white neutered male, no chip. He is friendly and has been called Samson, because of his size- larger than the average Moggy.
Found around the loading bay at Tesco (Marton) He's very friendly and is best described as a semi-longhair, most of the coat is fairly short but his tail is long-haired, nicely feathered. White bib & feet.

On East Park Drive, Blackpool FY3 directly outside The Model Village at Stanley Park, there was a cat in the road which had just been hit by a car.
"I pulled over, and picked him up. He was still breathing, but died seconds later in my arms (the owner can take some consolation in the fact that it was very quick).
I took him to Bob Jones Vets on St Annes Road-Blackpool
He is an un-neutered male. No chip.  Mostly black, with white boots and chin  he had no visible injuries-just a grazed chin). The vet thinks he is around two years old. Was quite dirty, but well-fed.
Hopefully  the owners will be found, and can be consoled that he was cared for in his last moments."

This poor little cat was holding its right paw in the air whilst it ran across the road making its way into the visitors car-park next to the rail staff car-park Blackpool North.
This cat seems disorientated and out of its usual patch as I saw it cross the dual carriageway at the side of the rail station on Monday 16/4/07 morning when on the way to work.

A black and white cat - black body, bit of white on his chest, chin and face with white paws at the front and I think white socks on his rear legs,  visiting a garden in Sandwell Avenue, Thornton.

There is also another cat - a couple of weeks ago it had hardly any fur on its back two legs, looked almost like it had been in a fight with a kettle perhaps or something hot, its tail did not have much fur on either. The poor little thing.

I've been feeding a stray unneutered male for about 4-6 months now. We're in the Warley Road area near Warbreck Hill .
He's a slim felix type although the white on his face covers his whole lower jaw, not between the eyes. He's slender but seems healthy. I've only just started gaining his trust so he's now allowing me to stroke him and that's how I've noticed that he's had at least 2 stitches in the top of his head (still one remaining). Someone must be missing him.
update: Aug.   If they were stitches on his head, they came out soon after and there was no obvious wound. I'm slowly building up a trust with him in order to catch him off guard when he's more relaxed and get him off to be neutered and scanned for a chip.

Since May on the Shepherd Street allotments in St.Annes.
A Black cat with tiny patches of White on chest and lower abdomen. Very friendly very thin at first but being fed and is filling out.

On the slipway from Yeadon Way to Waterloo Road South Shore a DSH male.
Black and White - Black Back, head and White flash down nose with Black blob on his nose, White chest, tummy and feet. Black blob under front right paw.

Found in the Claremont area, a neutered male with microchip, Bengal markings. Could have been missing for the last 2- 3 years or longer. Owners details not available.

Found in the area of Chipping Grove FY3, aprox 5mth old DSH female with Green eyes
Mainly White underneath, very pretty face. Tabby along the sides, White socks and paws.

In the area of Roseacre Place, St.Annes.
An elderly Fluffy Black cat aprox.14yrs old.
Black with what appears to be a brown stripe down the centre of his back and with long Black whiskers.
Was in bad condition when found, but is ok now.

This cat is chipped, registered to Hampsville Road, Morecambe. Owners no longer there, details not updated.
